Responsibilities






As the Sr. Strategic Business Analyst, you shall support NGA's Mission Management Integration Group (MMIG). You shall provide support to NGA Change Management activities and assist in developing the future workforce strategy to enable, plan, and safeguard NGA's future workforce capabilities. You shall provide Strategy and Data Analytic reviews and analyses, such such as with Strategic Management Cycles and PPBES. You shall leverage data and metrics for program performance, resource alignment, and strategic initiatives in support of NGA's planning for its future workforce strategic objectives, as well as the phased rollout and execution of these efforts in an agency-wide capacity. 

 

In this position, you shall be expected to: 

  • Assist in leading the development of a workforce strategy that includes a description of the vision, guidance, and strategy as it pertains to and guides how the future workforce will be built using a phased approach and aligns with NGA’s timeline for achieving Agency level strategic objectives, goals and vision.
  • Conduct reviews of principal strategic level documents (NGA and applicable IC documents) that highlight language that could directly or indirectly influence future agency mission, goals, or vision. 
  • Display proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, presentations, media/graphics and word processing.
  • Possess facilitation, conflict management, briefing and public speaking skills.
  • Work with various NGA entities to ensure performance metrics, program management and cost evaluation activities are done in alignment with the NGA governing documents, such as the NGA Strategic Direction and the Moonshot, and other relevant Agency governing documents.
  • Support the Planning, Programming, Budget and Evaluation (PPBE) lifecycle.
  • Participate in the development of the Planning activities, including the Planning Guidance Memorandum, the Agency Program Build activities and the Consolidated Intelligence Guidance (CIG).
  • Participate in and support the DoD/IC Strategic Management Cycle to include Planning and Resource management.
  • Ensure that resource alignment data (e.g., position management information) are collected, analyzed, and communicated. 
  • Review, analyze, advise, assist and support development of Agency Strategic Initiatives in collaboration with AD government POCs to gain knowledge and information in support of this effort.
  • Participate in and provide support to NGA Executive Decision Board (NEDB). 








Required Qualifications






Must-Haves:

 

Minimum twelve(12) years of cumulative experience, with at least eight (8) years of specialized experience in the following:

  • Experience working in Operations Research, with consulting experience at the senior executive level.
  • Experience in development and presentation of management status reports.
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements and management directives.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member under tight deadlines with changing priorities.
  • Familiar with NGA organization and agency processes and procedures.
  • Familiar with DoD Agencies and Intelligence Community
  • Possess program management expertise and experience, specifically with rapid execution projects with integrated data ingest, storage, retrieval, and dissemination infrastructure. 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in the technical field such as science, or engineering or closely related fields.








Desired Qualifications






Nice-to-Haves: 

  • Project management, planning and development.
  • Experience with Department of Defense and/or Intelligence Community clients.
  • Experience in subject matter and methods of organizational development such as: organization assessment, organization design, strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, leadership development, group/team dynamics, talent management, employee development and systems change.
