Job Title: Senior Data Analyst

 

Location: Remote, UK

 

Reports to: Deputy Director of Analytics

 

Work schedule: 37.5 hours

 

The Opportunity:

 

We are recruiting for an intelligent, enthusiastic, and confident Senior Healthcare Data Analyst to join our small yet dynamic team of healthcare analysts, serving as the analytical hub within Vitalhub UK.

 

Our growing team employs a combination of advanced analytics and business intelligence techniques to drive quality and performance improvements across health and social care providers and systems in all areas of the UK.

 

 

Your Responsibilities:

 

  • In-Depth Healthcare Analysis: Ability to conduct deep-dive analysis of healthcare data and effectively present insights to senior stakeholders in a clear, concise, and actionable manner. 
  • Demonstrate an inquisitive and methodical approach in applying analytical skills. This may include the interpretation of data, statistical analysis, evaluation, and modelling or forecasting as needed.
  • Enhance BI Reports and Dashboards: Improve and expand our portfolio of BI reports, dashboards, and analytics using your excellent knowledge of the NHS to identify and understand client requirements.
  • Innovation: Bring your previous experience and innovative ideas to drive the future of healthcare reporting and analytics within Vitalhub UK.

Essential Experience:

 

  • Experience working with information within the NHS or healthcare sector to understand the needs and expectations of our clients.
  • Proven experience in business intelligence, data analysis, and healthcare analytics.
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL for data manipulation.
  • Inquisitive, proactive, and methodical approach to healthcare analysis, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently as needed.

 

Desirable: 

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a highly numerate area such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or Sciences.
  • Experienced in using data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI, and proficient in statistical programming languages like Python and R.
