Responsibilities






Under the direction of the Information Team Lead, the Senior Data Analyst is accountable for evaluating and managing business data for use in decision making and organizational efficiency improvement initiatives. A demonstrated background in data analysis within product/service delivery is essential. The Senior Data Analyst collaborates in a fast-paced and agile environment with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, vendors, and Firm leadership to understand business needs, research, and evaluate data, and propose approaches to drive profitability and productivity. Responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced data analysis to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets, interpret data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and propose data-driven strategies to support business growth. Choose and utilize suitable data visualizations for clear and impactful data communication.
- Collaborate closely with Practice stakeholders to understand business priorities, challenges, and opportunities, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
- Educate Practice stakeholders and advise on data-driven recommendations and insights, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to make informed choices that drive profitability and productivity.
- Collaborate with data engineers to integrate data from various sources and functional areas to create a unified, accurate data repository, while also implementing data validation and quality assurance processes to ensure data accuracy.
- Interpret data to identify business trends, conduct root cause analysis of business problems, suggesting areas for process improvement and/or improving data quality.
- Stay informed about product and service delivery trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analysis, while sharing knowledge and insights with colleagues to promote continuous improvement.
- May provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to junior data analysts or team members as needed to support their professional development (if applicable).








Knowledge, Skills and Abilities






Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics) required; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a data analyst in a corporate or consulting environment, with a minimum of 10+ years of job-related experience
- Proficient in Microsoft T-SQL, SSAS, DAX, Power BI, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Azure DevOps
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders. Comfortable working from a remote environment.
- Experience participating in data governance and data management best practices is a plus.
- Vendor management experience

Compensation within the range is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, individuals' skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business needs and applicable employment laws.
