SUMMARY

The HR Data Analyst will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive strategic HR decisions and improve business outcomes. This position will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting HR data to provide insights and recommendations to HR and business leaders. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of HR processes and metrics.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to understand their data needs and provide data-driven solutions including dashboards, scorecards, and other data visualizations that present data in a meaningful and actionable way.

  • Collect and analyze HR data from various sources, including Workday, JD Edwards (E1), and Achievers, as well as external benchmarking and survey data sources

  • Create presentations that summarize complex statistical analyses and clearly communicate results and implications to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Identify patterns and trends in HR data to provide insights and recommendations for HR strategy, initiatives, and decision-making.

  • Develop HR models, forecasts, proposals, and performance measures to provide confidence to executives regarding financial decisions for an FG or PG with significant scope and a high level of business complexity.

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data audits and quality checks to identify problems and errors and partner with HR teams to design solutions.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in HR analytics and data management.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Statistics, or a related field required; Master’s degree in related field preferred

  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven experience in an analytical role with an emphasis on HR data management and reporting

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proficient with data analysis such as Excel and SQL, as well as data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI

  • Experience with the Workday HRIS system including Report Writer, Dashboards, Discovery Boards, Workforce Planning, and People Analytics

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities

  • Knowledge of HR processes, metrics, and best practices

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

Hybrid work arrangement with presence on campus. General open office and campus environment.

Travel: up to 20%
