Overview






Data Analyst Journeyman

Location: Barksdale AFB, LA

Clearance: Active TS/SCI

 

Provide the Standoff Munitions Application Center (SMAC) support to the Joint Forces Air Component Commander (JFACC) by optimizing the efficiency and combat effectiveness of Low-Density/High-Demand (LD/HD) global strike and theater standoff munitions.









Responsibilities






  • Provide SME support for all configuration management and life cycle management concepts sufficient to identify the need to upgrade or enhance databases and system component capabilities in response to data collection, analysis, management, and data structure functions across multiple unclassified and classified domains.
  • Research and implement software solutions as specified by the Government to support knowledge and data management.
  • Set, track, and report data configuration standards established by the Government for all SMAC systems and documents.
  • Develops or modifies program guidelines, procedures, and plans which apply to personnel and/or operations. Studies, analyzes, and develops methods to improve the accuracy, adequacy, and timeliness of information and systems for disseminating information to managers.
  • Develops integrative dashboards of data to enable informed decision making. Determines how knowledge will be structured, shared, controlled and accessible for the various needs of the organization.








Qualifications






 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or five (5) years of relevant military or government service in a military organization.
  • Demonstrated relevant experience with design, implementation and management of data structures, databases, and file systems.
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency in Air Force Knowledge Management practices.
  • Demonstrated relevant experience supporting operations within classified environments including those utilizing Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET) and Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS).
  • Demonstrated relevant experience with Windows-based database programs.
  • Demonstrated relevant experience as a SharePoint system administrator.
