Data Governance & Master Data Analyst

Responsibilities of the role

Reporting into the Head of Data Governance & Master Data, you will be working in a new team that will be setting up a new Data Governance service across Nomad Foods as we work on ensuring our data is as secure, accurate, timely and consistent.

In brief, you will be responsible for:

• Working to establishing a data governance framework and implementing & monitoring data controls.
• Monitoring & actioning Data Quality measures following the implementation of a new Data Quality tool.
• Working with Data Owners and Data Stewards in each of the business functions empowering them to manage their data.
• Playing an important role in the centralising & managing of Data Definitions.
• Providing input in defining Data Policies & Standards including Data Storage, Retention Policy & Unstructured Data.
• Supporting in the development & roll out of a Data Literacy programme.

About you…
We’re looking for someone who is excited about data governance, using data quality tools with experience in an SAP environment to learn and grow with this new team. 

Ideally we are looking for candidates with:

• Some experience working with data (SQL, R, Tableau, Excel) in a Data Governance team.
• Knowledge of developing and rolling out a data literacy programme and/or a Data Quality tool.
• Experience of working in an SAP environment in particular Master Data Management, Information Steward and Life Cycle Management.
• Good stakeholder management & business partnering skills
