Overview






LMI is seeking a Data Analyst to perform information technology related requirements as part of an integrated team supporting for the Department of Defense, United States Transportation Command. The position requires proficiency in physical data modeling and any major BI Visualization tool. Work will be performed at Scott AFB, IL and in the vicinity of O’Fallon, IL.

Responsibilities






  • Designs and builds automated data and ETL pipelines from multiple real-time and static data sources.
  • Works with key stakeholders to develop and document data requirements.
  • Works iteratively while constantly taking into account customer feedback to develop and refine data visualization dashboards.
  • Creates data orchestration workflows to ensure data visualization dashboards display the latest data.
  • Takes business requirements and identifies key data sources to support stakeholder needs.
  • Participates in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provides updates to teammates and stakeholders as needed.
  • Works collaboratively with fellow teammates to ensure best practices and efficient techniques are used.

 









Qualifications






  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Social Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical disciplines or equivalent years of experience
  • 3-5 years experience building automated ETL data-pipelines, using: Python, Pandas, Dataframes, or Pyspark. Familiarity with Databricks a plus. 
  • 3-5 years of SQL experience including: Data Definition Language (DDL) and/or Data Manipulation Language (DML). 
  • 3-5 years of MS Excel experience 
  • 3-5 years of experience deriving business use case requirements 
  • 3-5 years of Business Intelligence and Visualization experience using tools such as: Qlik, Tableau, or PowerBI. 
  • 3-5 years working in an Agile/Scrum environment 
  • 3-5 years using MS Teams / SharePoint 
  • Experience building physical data models/database design, preferred 
  • Experience working with DoD preferred, but not necessary 
  • Must possess an active SECRET US Government clearance
