Data Analyst
Hybrid | Washington D.C. | 3-4 days a week Onsite
Summary
Our client is an employee and Service-Disabled, Veteran-owned Small Business focused on providing niche technical services. They are a team of experienced Cyber Security professionals with a track record of success in the Federal, Commercial, and Academic workspaces. Additionally, our client designs, builds, operates, and secures scalable cloud and IT infrastructures to meet their customers’ near-term needs and fulfill their long-term requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform ad-hoc analysis using Python to support specific intelligence questions and projects
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and functional stakeholders, to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights
- Utilize statistical methods and software tools to analyze data and support decision-making processes
- Create and maintain documentation of data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings
- Ensure data security and compliance with relevant data protection regulations and requirements
Requirements
- Experience writing functional Python code to automate routine tasks and explore and analyze data
- Experience visualizing data to understand trends, patterns, and elucidate insights
- Ability to gather requirements for analytics that augment and/or enhance mission tradecraft
- Familiarity with cloud computing and services, particularly AWS
- Excellent technical troubleshooting and process implementation skills
- Exceptional customer service and team collaboration skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to be on-site 60% of the time at a client SCIF located in Washington D.C.
Preferred Requirements
- Hands-on experience working in Cloud environments, particularly AWS
- Hands-on experience training, selecting, and evaluating machine learning models
- Familiarity and experience with the Intelligence Community (IC), and the intel cycle
- Familiarity and experience with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
- Relevant certifications

Clearance Requirements
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a SCI is required. Please be aware that onboarding can take 4-6 weeks for this position.
