    VACANCY NOTICE
    POSITION TITLE: Data Analyst

    TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 11 months. Monday-Friday: 8 hours/day.
    IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction,
    Assessment and Grants
    SALARY: Starting at $66,900/year commensurate with
    credentials and experience

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    1. Applicants must hold a Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution
    of higher education or have higher coursework in statistics.
    2. Experience using technology tools and data analysis.
    3. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
    4. Presentation and professional development skills required.
    5. Organizational skills in the area of time, tasks, and resources.
    6. Some experience using queries, data imports and extracts.
    JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:
    1. Work collaboratively with the leaders of the Curriculum and Instruction and
    Teaching and Learning department, as well as other District administrators.
    2. Share current research and best practices information with individuals and groups
    (School Improvement teams, staff, administrators, board members, parents, and
    community).
    3. Participate in training focused on all District used data sources and data
    platforms/assessments. Participate in training focused on student progress (growth
    and attainment) to ensure compliance and data driven instruction.
    4. Use multiple data sources and monitoring instruments on a weekly basis to
    support buildings in school improvement.
    5. Conduct training on multiple data sources and analyzing and synthesizing data
    from multiple data/assessments used in the District.
    6. Actively participate in developing and offering a variety of staff development
    opportunities for individual teachers, grade level teams, departments, and small
    groups within the District.
    7. Assists in collecting and analyzing evaluation data.
    8. Monitor, analyze, present, and report assessment data as it relates to staff/teacher
    evaluation annually.
    9. Monitor, analyze, present and report assessment data as it relates to multiple
    content areas, grade levels, and multiple teams from local to state assessments, or
    others as requested.
    10. Participate in PLC meetings, Building Faculty Meetings, and other team meetings
    to facilitate data discussions.
    11. Assist with facilitation of building level meetings as requested.
    12. Collaborate with multiple district departments as it relates to data and District
    reports.
    13. Assist and support administrators with the monitoring and implementation of the
    district's curriculum and assessments in conjunction with the Assistant
    Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction, Assessments, and Grants.
    14. Monitors building level staff in their collection and use of data.
    15. Responsible for the collection, recording and retrieval of data and works with
    building principals to provide support to building staff as it relates to data.
    16. Work collaboratively with building staff and District staff to help support
    evidenced based data practices.
    17. Prepares reports, presentations, and documentation as it relates to data and
    assessments of all types.
    18. Manipulate large sets of data that require attention to detail.
    19. Participate in meetings, seminars, conferences and/or other trainings for the
    purpose of being informed of new developments in working with data and
    assessments.
    20. Strong interpersonal, problem solving skills with the ability to communicate
    effectively both orally and in writing on a one-to-one basis and with groups at all
    levels of the organization.
    21. Performs other duties as assigned.
