About The Job
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Underwriting Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our underwriting processes, by supporting our third party supplier and internal underwriting teams with query management, data analysis and operational insights. You’ll work closely with underwriters, data analysts, external consultants, and other departments to help streamline processes, improve efficiency, and contribute to our business goals.
What You’ll Spend Your Time Doing:
- Support our third party supplier and Underwriting teams with overall query management
- Act as a first point of call for any issues between third party supplier and internal underwriting teams
- Work with our third party supplier to guide, train and support on all task types including error resolutions
- Highlight any performance related issues to senior management backed up with relevant data metrics.
- Comply with internal governance processes by attending and supporting third party supplier and underwriting team connect calls.
- Ability to work in different areas of the business to provide support on specific activities, all relating to supporting the third-party supplier.
- Be able to audit tasks conducted by the supplier in order to review accuracy and providing necessary feedback.
- Conduct training on key systems to internal underwriting teams as and when required.
- Provide ad hoc reporting as and when required based on data within the company's policy admin system and key processes.
- Work in a pressured environment and ability to handle shift in priorities.

What You'll Need
- Experience in both the Direct & Reinsurance London Market processes
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to question the status quo and create solutions
- Desirable qualifications in CII or similar London Market
- Strong excel and numeracy skills
- Self-motivation and strong organisational skills
- Experience in data management and analysis tools is an advantage
