Delta Data Services (DDS) was founded in 2009 and we are based in Long Beach, California. We are a certified small, local, woman and minority owned business. The company is a software integration firm. This means that we help companies to increase the efficiency of their processes and increase profits by setting up the software they need to run their businesses and through automation and workflows ensuring that they stay the lean. Software is the key word for Technology in the context of our company though we do help our clients with hardware as well.

Description

We are seeking individuals who wants to engage in the development of a growing company. We will train you on all software we set up for our clients and use internally but being good at technology is a plus.

You should be creative thinker and able to propose solutions on all projects that other staff can consider besides their own. We want people with a professional demeanor in personality and work products. We are enthusiastic about our work and want our new team members to be just as enthusiastic.

Team members at DDS will learn to use best practices and follow business policies and standards to produce work that is replicable and standardized to the business expectations and the value provided to our clients over and over again. Team members will learn new cloud-based software tools and gain experience on how to work in a professional team.

Team members are expected to maintain open, honest, and clear communication with all other DDS team members.

Responsibilities for Technical:

  • Develop expertise with Zoho One and Laserfiche customizations for clients.
  • Develop expertise in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, in particular Zoho.
  • Develop expertise in multiple Zoho applications (Zoho One) and Laserfiche.
  • Develop expertise in the standards for gathering and understanding client requirements.
  • Develop expertise in how to convert requirements to configurations in CRM, Zoho One and Laserfiche.
  • Develop expertise in testing and quality assurance particularly in Zoho and Laserfiche.
  • Develop superior customer service, always finding a way to support the client better through continuously improved and well-designed quality assurance and testing processes and creative configurations and systems design.

Responsibilities in General

  • Become adept at Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Become adept at Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Become adept a Zoom and Microsoft Teams and willing to learn Zoho Meeting and other meeting tools.
  • Develop advanced, professional, technical written and verbal communication skills.


Requirements

Quantitative

  • Completed college degree i.e. college graduate from 4-year university.
    • The selected major of your study may not impact our review of your application as much as the evidence in the selection of your course work and GPA that shows your engagement in your degree and investment in your academic growth and learning. 
  • Likes and is interested in technology, some experience preferred in cloud-based software and mobile app technology.
  • Fast learner in technology.
  • Some coding experience preferred e.g. SQL, C++, HTML, PHP, Zoho Deluge, CSS. Please present any technology certifications you have.

Benefits

  • $35/hour to $40/hour
  • 32 to 40 hours a week
    • However, once a given number of hours per week is selected this can only be adjusted by an approved request in writing.
  • Hybrid - work from home and office (Headquarters: Long Beach, CA 90807)
    • In-office requirement is on an as-needed basis.
  • Option for W-2 or 1099 based on candidates’ request and whether they own their own business.
    • 1099 vs W-2 does not impact pay rate.
