We are seeking a talented Financial Data Analyst/Developer to join our team and play a pivotal role in creating sophisticated budget management solutions for our projects and programs.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize data extracted from Government financial systems to develop, design, and build financial management data analytical and forecasting tools.

  • Collaborate with Government subject matter experts to understand requirements and ensure the developed tools align with the desired end state.

  • Design and implement financial forecasting, budget tracking, and expenditure analysis functionalities.

  • Create automated processes for data retrieval and updates, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.

  • Develop interactive reports using Microsoft 365 applications, including Power Platform, Excel Pivot reports, and Power Business Intelligence (BI) Dashboard reports.

  • Build budget analytics tools as per project specifications.

  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery and adherence to project management standards.

  • Deploy tools and reports to cloud environments as required.




Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Strong proficiency in software development with a focus on customized analytical tools.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Power Platform, Excel, and Power BI. (7+ yrs. for Senior Consultant level, 5+ yrs. for Consultant II level, 3+ yrs. for Consultant level)

  • Experience in data management, validation, and accuracy checks.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

  • Familiarity with government financial systems and regulations is a plus.

  • Track record of meeting deliverable due dates and managing projects effectively.

  • **4-7 Years of Experience in MS Operational Automation Software  Families**

  • Proficiency in Microsoft OneNote for customized group and one-on-one training.

  • Proficiency in Power Automate for training on process automation.

  • Proficiency in Power Query and Power Pivots for training on data management.

  • Proficiency in Power BI for training on report development.

  • Proficiency in Power Apps for training on app development.

  • Knowledge of Power Platform, Kofax Power PDF Advanced, and DocuSign.

  • ​**Documentation and technical writing (e.g., SOP, User Guide, UAT results).

  • ​**Accounting and finance background/understanding.

  • ​**Federal background and consulting experience preferred.

This position involves working with sensitive financial data within a federal agency environment. Therefore, candidates selected for this role may be subject to a Public Trust background investigation. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.



Remote Work Flexibility:

  • This is a remote position with the option to work from office.

  • Occasional on-site presence may be required for specific occasions or meetings.
