Job summary

The Placement Support Lead is responsible for the timely delivery of the Outwards Reinsurance placing information, leading the placement support team and assisting the purchasers.

Main duties

  • Provide coaching for placement support staff

  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify and resolve data issues

  • Develop and share best practice / continuous improvement

  • Optimisation of information / data presentation for reinsurers

  • Process, reporting and stakeholder management

  • Support business planning – e.g. providing budget file updates, reinsurance summary updates and conducting estimated incomes review

  • Provide responses for reinsurer queries

  • Support premium adjustment process

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Experience

RI technical expertise and system proficiency

Ensure delivery of consistent outputs to stakeholders, e.g. information for reinsurers

Skills

Data analytics capability

Advanced Excel skills

Experience with Power BI

Proactive problem solving

Knowledge

Knowledge and skill to provide coaching for placement support team

Strong understanding of optimal best practice processes and drive for improvements

Qualifications

ACII qualified or studying towards (or equivalent)
