Summary

eClerx is seeking highly skilled data analysts to support one of our premier clients, a leading global financial institution, in a comprehensive transformation of their middle office systems. We are searching for candidates who possess a strong knowledge of middle office systems and can effectively analyze complex data environments. These individuals will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between practitioners and technology teams, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration. 

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and validate both business and technical requirements, including user stories and solution designs.
• Analyze complex data sets to identify patterns, discrepancies, and root causes, and propose actionable solutions.
• Define and optimize Target Operating Models (TOM) to improve operational efficiency.
• Develop and run SQL queries, perform data mapping, and build conceptual data models.
• Create dashboards and data visualizations using tools like Tableau and Power BI to support decision-making.
• Work across cross-functional teams, including technology and business, to ensure data integrity and alignment with project goals.
• Communicate insights and recommendations effectively through presentations and written reports.
• Participate in Agile development cycles, ensuring SDLC compliance and alignment with project timelines.
• Leverage expertise in capital markets and reference data systems to enhance data quality and architecture.

Eligibility Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst, preferably in a financial institution such as an Asset Manager or Hedge Fund.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, data modeling, and working with large data sets.
• Proficiency in Tableau and Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Deep understanding of business and technical project aspects, including SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Prior experience implementing platforms like BlackRock Aladdin, Calypso, or similar investment systems.
• Demonstrated success in medium-to-large scale projects, especially in a globally distributed environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with banking or capital markets reference data systems and knowledge of SWIFT architectural design.
• Self-motivated, adaptable team player with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

In the US, the target base salary for this role is $110K-$140K. Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. We expect the majority of candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall throughout the range based on these factors.
