Department Summary

Our Wireless Technology organization is transforming the future of connectivity. We’re doing it by building the country’s first virtualized, standalone 5G wireless network from scratch. The foundation of a connected world, it’s a network free of the limitations of the past, and flexible enough to satisfy all the social, economic and transformative needs of the changing world.


Job Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and apply statistical models and machine learning algorithms for 5G transport network optimization.
Analyze large datasets to uncover insights and optimize complex SQL queries for scalable data retrieval.
Design and maintain scalable data pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow and Databricks for transport network data.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate transport network needs into actionable data science tasks.
Mentor team members and present insights through reports and visualizations using tools like Tableau and Grafana.
Stay updated on industry trends and propose new methodologies for advancing data science in 5G transport technology.


Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, with a proven track record of leading complex projects and delivering impactful results
 

Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
Experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
Experience with AWS data services including S3, Redshift, SageMaker, and Glue
Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and analytical mindset
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to a diverse audience
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $83,160.00/Year - $118,800.00/Year
