As a Senior Data Analyst Consultant on the SD Digital Data
Analytics team, you will play a vital role in delivering analytics solutions
that drive measurable business outcomes for our clients. As part of a highly collaborative team, you
will work closely with peers, managers, client engagement stakeholders, and
other SD Digital team members to deliver value to our clients. You will also have the opportunity to work
across a diverse client base, varying in industry, size, and complexity.
Schneider Downs has embraced the hybrid work model, so this role
will have flexibility working from home, as well as in the office. We are also
open to individuals working remotely from Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan,
Indianapolis, Florida and Texas for this opportunity.
•Participate on engagement teams to develop solutions that address the unique needs and expectations of our clients
•Participate in workshops to understand client business needs
•Work with internal and external stakeholders to translate client business needs into persona-based analytic solutions. Specifically, use your skills to incorporate data modeling, visualizations, slicers, security, and intuitive design for an enriched user experience
•Perform root cause analysis and do break fix work for client support needs
•Develop wireframes / mockups of data analytics that address client business needs
•Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable data analytics for clients
•Work collaboratively with other SD Digital team members including the Digital Modernization, Intelligent Automation, Development, and ERP Implementation teams
•Develop and nurture strong client relationships through engagements and support efforts
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Required:
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Business Management, Information Systems Management, Engineering, or related field
•Minimum of three years of experience focused on Power BI-related capabilities, including Data Transformation, Data Modeling, DAX Calculations, Visualization and Reporting, Optimization , and Collaboration and Sharing
•Experience designing analytics using Human Centered Design Methods
•Experience with developing wireframes / mockups of proposed analytics solutions based on gathered client requirements
Preferred:
•Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification (PL-300 Exam)
•Experience with SQL, including SQL Server Management Studio and/or SQL Server Integration Services
•Experience in any of the following Fabric areas: OneLake, Data Factory and Pipelines, Data Engineering, Governance and Administration and/or AI
•Experience with Corporate Performance Management (CPM) and/or Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions (e.g., Solver Cloud, datarails, Anaplan, Board, Vena, Adaptive Planning, Host Analytics)
•Experience building and deploying analytics in an Agile environment
Other:
•Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
The services SD Digital provides require both technical and non-technical competencies. The successful candidate will be comfortable and effective communicating with internal and external stakeholders in both remote and in-person environments. They will also be skilled at developing analytics within the Power BI platform. These skills will be applied to engagements and the support needs of our clients.
