SIRO is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Customer Base Management team, supporting the expansion of our wholesale consumer services across Ireland. This is a unique opportunity to work with one of Ireland’s leading telecommunications providers, contributing to projects that impact thousands of broadband users nationwide.


As part of our team, you’ll analyse broadband connection trends across the SIRO network and the broader Irish market. Using a mix of internal and external datasets, you'll help forecast customer behaviours—such as adoption, churn, and migration—using robust analytical models.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver actionable insights to support strategic and operational decision-making across the business.
  • Produce and present regular reports for senior management, highlighting key trends and performance indicators.
  • Analyse historical sales data to identify patterns in broadband take-up and recommend initiatives to enhance performance.
  • Interpret consumer and operational data to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, valuable business insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and present findings.
  • Mentor and support junior analyst, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Communicate analytical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 


Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Python, and R
  • Strong background in statistical analysis and data modelling
  • Curious, analytical mindset with a willingness to challenge assumptions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and strong reporting abilities
  • Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently Desirable Skills:
  • Experience within a commercial function (e.g., sales, marketing, or customer service), providing strong business context for data insights
  • Familiarity with machine learning techniques and predictive analytics
  • Understanding of the telecommunications industry and its data ecosystem 


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years in a data analytics role, with a demonstrated ability to deliver insights that influence commercial or operational outcomes.
