Overview: This role involves hands-on participation in master data support and projects. The existing MDG solution is deployed on an S/4 HANA HUB, supporting ERP operations on SAP ECC version. The client operates across four systems: SAP S4, ECC, EWM, and TM, utilizing S4HANA Business Partners for Customer and Vendor Management.









Responsibilities






  • Collaborate with SAP Functional team during business process discussions with business teams.
  • Participate and gather requirements and establishing fully functional development, test, and production environments to deliver MDG BP/C/V/M/F scope to the client in S/4 HANA 1709 HUB.
  • Provide solution recommendations based on scope and client requirements.
  • Prepare technical specifications from functional specifications provided by Functional team.
  • Engage with project teams for Data migration and Master Data design discussions.
  • Resolve errors related to Data migration activities, Monitoring of Data related interfaces to other systems and support Data related tasks in various projects.
  • Mass Data loads and data extracts from MDG and ECC.








Qualifications






  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field of study from an accredited college/university.
  • Minimum 7-8 years of hands-on implementation experience with SAP MDG S/4 HANA Solution for Business Partners, Customer, Vendor, Material, Financial masters, etc.
  • Proficient understanding of Master Data IDOCs/ALE distribution, Business Partner concept, Customer Vendor Integration with S/4 HANA.
  • Solid grasp of SAP Master Data Governance Data and Governance Models.
  • Knowledge of S/4 HANA Migration projects and industry best practices for MDG implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of Master Data Governance (MDG), Workflow, Standard Data Model Enhancement and Custom Data Model Creation.
  • Proficiency in MDG UI configuration, FPM UI enhancement, context-based adaptation, customizing and configuration.
  • Hands-on implementation experience in process modeling configuration (Business Activity, Change Request type, Workflow, Rule-Based Workflow BRF+).
  • Ability to manage migration of existing master data into MDG hub, validations, and derivations using BADIs and BRF+.
  • Familiarity with data replication framework (DRF), data import using DIF, SOA service, ALE configuration, and MDG integration with SAP Information Steward and SAP Data Services for Data Remediation and Data Validation.
  • Experience with Data Migration to SAP S4 HANA Public Cloud is a Plus.
  • Winshuttle scripting knowledge and experience in working with them in relation to SAP.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and proficiency in MS Office products.
