Role purpose
We are looking for an innovative individual to join our team as a Retail MI Analyst. You will be responsible for creating high quality reporting and recommendations using data from internal reporting systems & applications (e.g., Business Objects, Workday). You will have the technical skills to prepare the data and build data visualisations (Excel and/or Power BI) with a keen eye to make your visuals engaging and support users in making informed business decisions quickly.
Key accountabilities
What will you be doing?
- Creating high quality data visualisations using data storytelling and user-oriented design, which allow users across the business to engage with and understand data
- Reporting will include, but not limited to Retail Walk up and Self Serve (ATM) performance, People data, Compliance performance, Costs, Trend & Gap analysis
- Build periodic/long-term forecasts working with the respective finance teams
- Supporting our community of self-service dashboard creators, by providing advice, coaching, feedback and training on visualisation tools and techniques
- Develop tools that enable other analysts to build better dashboards (e.g., templates, guidelines, tips on layout, chart catalogues, style guides, etc)

Technical – you’ll have some experience of modern data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI/Quicksight) and a desire to become an expert
Essential
- Strong knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, PowerBI with strong attention to detail
- Capability to dissect information and present in an easy-to-read informative pack
- A team player with strong working ethics and ability to work independently
- Strong effective communicator
Desirable
- Prior industry experience, with focus on partnering non-finance staff
- Reporting Automation (not essential)
