Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, Stanford Health Care’s mission is to heal humanity through science and compassion, one patient at a time. The Office of the Chief Medical Informatics Officer plays a key role in helping Stanford Health Care accomplish this mission through enabling digitally driven care in an academic health care system environment. This team works across clinical and operational teams to optimize the clinician experience, create value for our patients, and drive enterprise cohesion and scale in the use of digital tools to support Stanford mission to care, educate and discover.
This role encompasses the collaboration with organizational leaders and user groups to develop, test, and execute analytical solutions including reports, dashboards, and analysis, tailored to suit business needs and requirements. The individual in this role will, under supervision, carry out analysis, development, and testing of these solutions to promote data-driven decision-making within the organization. As part of the Office of the CMIO, this work will represent and support the provider community and our Medical Informatics programs. Proficiency in SHC’s choice reporting and visualization tool, Tableau, is essential. Possessing a basic understanding of statistics and data validation skills is crucial since the role also dictates the analysis of data and efficient communication of insights to others. Experience in a clinical environment is preferred, including experience with electronic health record data including Epic Analytic Tools (Cogito). Finally, adherence to SHC's best practices and standard procedures is expected when developing solutions using the designated analytical tools.
A Brief Overview
The Business Operations Analyst provides direct support to Program Managers in high profile projects designed to reinforce the hospitals strategic goals and increase operational efficiencies. Support is provided through conducting the following: complex quantitative and qualitative analysis, documenting current and future state business processes, managing project logistics, and monitoring the success of project goals.

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $41.25 - $53.63 per hourThe salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
