Overview






The Purchasing Business Analyst will report to the Sr. Manager of Strategic Sourcing and Indirect Purchasing. This position will be responsible for leading the implementation of new procurement tools, processes, and policies across all group companies. Implementation includes business requirements gathering, design and development, testing, validation and rollout of solutions and the associated integration points to external business applications. The analyst will assist with day-to- day support, maintenance, and administration of these procurement systems. This position will also assist with sourcing strategies, provide purchasing analysis, and lead procurement best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with development of sourcing strategies for all group companies including contract negotiation, cost targets, supply chain risk evaluation and mitigation. Support HLUS and Group Companies to achieve their annual cost saving target.
  • Enforces procurement best practices and standardization across all Fujifilm group companies in procurement.
  • Participates in the implementation of new procurement tools and processes, including implementation across multiple group companies while driving to a standardized process. Assist with end user training and communications and lead all testing and change management processes required for these new tools/processes
  • Assist with routine Ariba administration and maintenance tasks
  • Coordinate and lead cross company validation efforts as required for changes to procurement processes and new tools. Understand validation documentation requirements and document management system posting requirements.
  • Assist with procurement reporting and analysis of procurement KPIs, including providing recommendations, tracking and reporting as assigned.
  • Negotiate favorable supplier agreements, terms and conditions, achieving cost savings while ensuring consistent product quality and on time deliveries.

 

Required Skills/Education

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge of tools within the Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel knowledge
  • Demonstrated experience with validation requirements for medical companies
  • Demonstrated experience with developing, initiating and managing sourcing strategies with tactical processing capabilities and building strategic supplier relationships
  • Previous ERP systems and purchase order processing experience – Ariba and SAP
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to lead teams working in a remote environment
  • Ability to lead large scale projects, work with diverse teams, and manage relationships for successful outcomes.
  • Procurement/Supply Chain experience: 3 years required
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
