Role Description

Our Company's Technology organization seeks a candidate to be part of a Global Technology Asset Inventory and Configuration Management team. A Project Manager/Business Analyst in this role will be responsible for simultaneously supporting priorities across multiple data and asset governance projects.


Key Responsibilities:

Managing complex projects with various priorities and stakeholders

Developing and executing action plans for completing open actions/issues related to the Firm's Asset/Configuration Management or Data Governance priorities

Coordination with various stakeholders across Business and IT teams

Facilitate impact assessments on upstream and downstream systems as required

Implement relevant controls and compliance metrics to reduce data issues and improve data quality with a view to provide accurate reporting

Proactive monitoring and tracking of data quality (e.g. accuracy, completeness and timeliness) levels and other metrics which assess the adherence to Data Governance policies

Develop and present data analysis results in a meaningful and compelling way to leadership teams and support easy/quick decision-making

Identify opportunities to better manage and reconcile inventory and related reporting through interviews with Data Owners and IT & Business System Owners.

Build and maintain relationships with engineering team, key stakeholders in other business units across the firm

The candidate should be flexible, highly adaptable to a constantly changing environment, and an excellent team player.

The candidate should expect to work in a global virtual team that spans across multiple time zones.

The candidate will be asked to juggle multiple ad hoc requests in addition to the BAU aspects of the role. T

he candidate will be required to take ownership and accountability of key deliverables.


Skills Required:

Strong project management, business analysis and organizational skills with detail-oriented work ethic

Min. 5-6 years of experience in working with IT applications/systems including knowledge of cybersecurity domains, technology risk management concepts and data governance is essential

Working knowledge of Asset Inventory Management and familiarity with IT asset discovery/Device management solutions is a plus

Undergraduate degree in a systems and operations, or technical field or equivalent professional work history preferred

Understanding of end-to-end data life cycle requirements across key business processes

Comfortable working at low levels of detail, examining data and trends in values to understand variations and seek the root causes, to legitimize the trend or classify it as a data governance issue.

Knowledge of data quality, data conversion tools, best practices, and tools/technologies

Experience with data analysis techniques to aid in reporting and executive management presentations

Experienced in creating clear, concise documentation : status reports, roadmaps, charts, etc.

Ability to perform and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work well under pressure and against time constraints.

Facilitation and conflict resolution skills, to assist in resolving the different points of view and requirements during cross-team and cross-organization efforts.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to interface effectively or influence Business Users, other IT groups and team members is required

Expertise with Excel, PowerPoint, Jive, JIRA and other collaboration tooling

Ability to handle confidential information and material with the highest degree of professional responsibility

Ability to approach work with a questioning attitude, willing to ask why we do something, not just execute
