Responsibilities
In your role your responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:
• Act as the Product Owner role for an agile squad, taking responsibility for managing the backlog and working closely with the squad to deliver the IT implementation.
• Coach / Mentor Business Analyst within the squad/in the tribe
• Act as the key interface to drive the requirements elicitation and shape the business solution with the senior business stakeholders.
• Clearly demonstrate and communicate an understanding of the business drivers behind operational, functional, tactical or strategic initiatives/changes and the value they will bring to the organization.
• Counsel business stakeholders by understanding their problems / needs and leverage this to negotiate / propose options for viable business solutions that are acceptable to the stakeholders.
• Facilitate the implementation and deployment of system changes for business stakeholders by providing them with support, advice and guidance throughout the change process.
• Be a champion in promoting best practice amongst the business analyst community across all IT and non-IT Divisions and across physical locations.
• Lead on validating the scenarios needed to test the system and update stakeholders with the outcome of the results.
Skillsets
You will be expected to have;
• Previous industry experience within the Financial Services sector - specifically within Securities or FMI is highly desirable.
• Experience of delivering complex IT Projects utilising industry standard methodologies such as Waterfall, V-Model, SCRUM and SAFE..
• Proven Business Analyst expertise/experience is a must.
• Previous experience of working in a Product Owner role.
Experienced team leader/mentor
• Previous experience of managing testing strategies on projects.
• A proven track record of managing stakeholders irrespective of their position/level within the organisation.
• Expert in utilising and promoting business analysis methods such as: Modelling – Use Cases, Story Mapping, Process Modelling (BPMN, UML), Data Modelling (conceptual/logical)
