Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Data Analyst at AmeriPharma you will be responsible for analyzing data collected from pharmacy interactions and systems.


Schedule Details 

  • In-Person (Laguna Hills, Ca.)
  • Monday-Friday, 8 hours between regular office hours 8:00am-6:00pm, hours to be determined upon Interview. 


Job Responsibilities

  • Analyzing prescription data to identify trends and insights that can improve business performance and efficiency
  • Creating various reports such as business intelligence, productivity, financial, clinical, forecasting, and inventory intelligence to help stakeholders make informed decisions
  • Establishing and maintaining databases to ensure data accuracy and availability
  • Conducting regular data audits to identify discrepancies or anomalies that can affect business performance
  • Collaborating with pharmacy operations and other staff members to ensure that data is accurate, relevant, and timely
  • Establishing and developing data analysis processes and protocols to ensure the quality of data


Required Qualifications

  • To become a Pharmacy Data Analyst, you must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related fields
  • A Master's degree and post-graduate training in data analytics are also preferred. Additionally, candidates with prior experience working in the pharmacy and healthcare industries are desirable


Education/Experience Requirements

  • Proficiency in data analytics tools, techniques, and applications such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, and other database software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex data and draw clear insights.
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate complex data to stakeholders and colleagues in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Good organizational skills to complete tasks efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
  • A keen interest in research and data analytics to continuously improve methods for data collection and analysis
  • Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations, revenue cycle management, inventory management, and other areas related to the pharmacy and healthcare industries.
