Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Data Analyst to join our team in the UK. The ideal candidate should have extensive expertise in data analysis and management, with a focus on working with Oracle and Azure technologies. This role requires a proactive professional who can develop, implement, and manage robust data quality solutions while driving operational excellence.




Requirements



Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Management:
    • Analyze, manage, and maintain large datasets using Oracle RDBMS and Azure Synapse.
    • Develop optimized data extraction and transformation routines to support business objectives.
  • Solution Development:
    • Design and implement data quality solutions to address consistency, accuracy, and completeness issues.
    • Manage data loading and extraction routines, specifically using Siebel EIM.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Utilize PL/SQL, TOAD for Oracle, and advanced SQL scripting to create and manage data processes.
    • Work with SQL dedicated pools and other Azure-native tools to handle large-scale data requirements.
  • Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting:
    • Diagnose and resolve data-related issues efficiently, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
    • Conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring data quality problems.
  • Collaboration & Reporting:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business needs.
    • Provide detailed reporting and documentation to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in data analysis and management roles.
    • Proven track record of working with Oracle RDBMS and Azure platforms.
  • Certifications (Preferred):
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate.
    • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Database Administrator.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Strong knowledge of PL/SQL, TOAD for Oracle, and advanced SQL.
    • Experience with Azure Synapse, SQL dedicated pools, and Siebel EIM.
  • Core Competencies:
    • Ability to develop and implement data quality and governance solutions.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex data challenges.
    • Excellent communication skills for collaboration and reporting.
