The Role:
Due to continued expansion in analytical capabilities, James Fisher PLC’s Maritime Transport division are seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join our finance team, supporting financial planning and analysis. The purpose of this role is to support the organisation's market analysis efforts by collecting, processing, and analysing internal and external data sources.
This role is essential to providing accurate and timely insights that drive informed decision-making and strategic planning. As a member of the team, the post holder plays a key role in enhancing the organisation's competitive edge and ensuring data-driven success.

Qualifications and Experience:
Experience in a data analyst role is desirable but not essential.
Understanding of use of business intelligence packages or statistical computing software i.e. PowerBI, R, Python.
For this role you will need to have excellent communication skills to aid reporting to management teams.
Be personally energetic, dynamic, positive, and enthusiastic and possess the ability to think laterally and act through reasoned decision making.
*This role although hybrid, will be based at our Seething Norfolk office therefore, you will need to be able to commute to this location.
