Job Summary
As a Data Program Analyst, you will play a key role with the Information Technology team. This includes working closely with leadership and internal customers as we transform our service capabilities. Working cross functionally with a broad set of functional user partners, you will use keen business process understanding, appreciation for simplicity and quality, and critical thinking to craft holistic solutions that meet business and technology objectives while furthering the college’s long-range goals.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Will provide analysis and review of proposed system features and integration, security, scalability, and performance requirements with users, business analysts, architects, and team members. Will be involved in the development of methodologies, design, and best practices and procedures. Providing client liaison and technical support for applications including system configuration and usage guidance to the administrative user community. Supporting departmental staff and administration with the identification, evaluation, selection, support, and maintenance of systems solutions. Providing systems analysis, problem-solving support, and necessary programming support to provide efficient and effective use of information systems in support of the Client’s goals and objectives. Providing maintenance, appropriate use, production and problem-solving support, and ad-hoc reporting support. Implementing quality assurance methodologies for change management and problem management. Meeting with users and staff to determine the impact of proposed changes in hardware or software for users. Assisting with the evaluation of software and hardware to determine usefulness and compatibility with existing technology. Evaluating proposed information technology projects to assess the adequacy of existing hardware and recommend the purchase of new equipment and software as required. Participates in the process for systematic review and evaluation of Administrative Technology Services functional area per the model adopted by the College, including the development and monitoring of outcomes and plans of action for improvement based on the assessment of those outcomes and plans. Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite. Working hours may include evenings, holidays or weekends depending on deadline requirements and special events. Completes duties and responsibilities in compliance with college standards, policies, and guidelines. Uses interpersonal skills and makes sound judgments to decide how duties and responsibilities are completed between coworkers, the supervisory chain, faculty, staff, students, and customers. Supports the values and institutional goals as defined in the College’s Strategic Plan. Promotes positive morale and teamwork within the department and provides exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and community. Serves on committees as appropriate and as appointed by supervisor. Performs other duties as assigned.
