Overview






The Mission of Massachusetts Care Coordination Network (MCCN) is to improve health outcomes for Mass Health members through comprehensive community-based care coordination.
MCCN is looking for an exceptional Full-Time Healthcare Data Analyst. This position will determine the appropriate data elements to use for reporting on measures for healthcare utilization, risk stratification and other measures. Under the guidance of the Director of MCCN and MCCN principles, the Healthcare Data Analyst will analyze, interpret, and present information from multiple data sources utilizing a broad array of technology resources to meet state requirements and improve service delivery.
Strong and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders and adapt aspects of their work accordingly. The position will work closely with MCCN’s IT Coordinator









Responsibilities






1. Oversee the Quality Management Committee and associated reporting.
2. Work collaboratively with various stakeholders; Quality Committee, EOHHS, ACOs, the Governing Board, and Director of MCCN to adhere to MCCN metrics aimed at measuring the impact and effectiveness of the integrated care management service delivery line.
3. Conduct analyses and produce standard reports using healthcare claims data and a variety of other data sources.
4. Principal position working with MCCN Leadership on MA DSRIP Technical Assistance (TA) project to gather and analyze data from various data sources, establish
framework for analysis, and establish a best practice modeling tool in care coordination and navigation for Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS).
5. Provide EOHHS, ACOs and MCOs accurate reporting aligned quality and other data measure.
6. Updating and maintaining the Comprehensive Assessment tracker(s) and fulfill associated responsibilities for the effective completion of Comprehensive Assessments.
7. Advise the Director of MCCN and Governing Board regarding guidelines and regulations that promote maximum effectiveness and that create a positive impact on
service quality risk elements.
8. Participate in MCCN associated committees and necessary.
9. Stay knowledgeable of changing program design and expectations.
10. Collaborative, open, ongoing communication with Director of MCCN & Affiliated partners.
11. Develop internal program processes and workflows e.g. stakeholder experience, incident reporting, employing best practice and industry standards









Qualifications






1. Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business, Health Systems Administration, Mathematics, Organizational Development, or comparable fields of study.
2. Preferred minimum two years of work experience in a healthcare analytic or data management environment or comparable experience.
3. Proven ability to lead by example and to foster collaborative relationships.
4. Outstanding analytical, organizational, interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
5. Excellent technical and data analytic experience required.
6. Ability to prioritize numerous tasks, and to work under time constraints.
7. Outstanding attention to detail.
8. Effective communicator and consensus builder
9. Ability to use Care Management Software and Electronic Health Record.
10. Commitment to MCCN values and mission.
11. Must have valid driver’s license and access to auto in state of residence.
12. Ability to read and speak English.
