Business Analyst– Global Sports Management Consulting

We have exciting opportunities for a small number of Business Analysts to join our team based in London. We are seeking candidates with an entrepreneurial mindset, high performers and a self-starter.

Our projects are wide and varied, spanning strategy, organisation, governance, project management and implementation. Recent examples include:

  • Creating the National Sports and Physical Activity Policy for Mauritius
  • Designing a post-acquisition strategy for a newly acquired UK sports team
  • Developing strategies to professionalise women’s football and rugby
  • Conducting ground-breaking research into the value of grassroots sport

The main responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Undertake research, conduct analysis, draw out insights and synthesise findings
  • Develop independent sections of client documents and presentations
  • Contribute to team problem-solving and help develop recommendations
  • Help prepare and conduct interviews, workshops and meetings
  • Build productive day-to-day relationships with client team members
  • Support team planning and process management
  • Support Portas business development and internal firm-building activities.

We are looking for exceptional candidates from top universities or business schools who fulfil the following requirements:

  • Excellent academic record
  • Highly numerate, with strong quantitative and conceptual problem-solving ability
  • Demonstrate a clear passion for sports and physical activity
  • Self-directed, proactive and entrepreneurial
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Highly proficient in English is essential and Arabic is an advantage
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel

  • The interview process:Online numerical and verbal reasoning test, screening interview, three case study interviews and a final interview (each stage needs to be passed to move to the next round).
  • Estimated timeline: The interviews are likely to take place December to January 2024
