Professional Enrollment Concepts (PEC) has an exciting career opportunity for an EDI Data Analyst. The EDI Data Analyst is responsible for setting up EDI file feeds between Selerix or Employee Navigator and third-party benefits vendors to ensure enrollment and demographic information is transmitted successfully. Additionally, this person would serve as support to the Account Executive and customer for questions during the setup of file feeds.

What You'll Do






  • Build file feeds related to new implementations or carrier changes.
  • Work with development in establishing and mapping custom files.
  • Communicate with Account Executive on status of file implementations.
  • Schedule and manage Selerix or Employee Navigator client management reports.
  • Serve as primary research and troubleshooting source for files in implementation.
  • Complete quarterly data audits to ensure data accuracy and EDI functionality.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, carriers and internal parties on requirements of file feeds.
  • Provide technical guidance on account structures, analyze, and review test files, and successfully create new coding/mapping jobs for each file.
  • Configure automated employee census imports and oversee timely census processing.
  • Research, track, and resolve customers' benefits issues.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.








What You'll Need






  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience working with benefit plans or insurance carriers.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience working with customers and/or computer systems of any type.
  • Experience utilizing MS Excel for imports and exports of data with ability to perform moderately complex tasks, such as working with large data sets, pivot tables and completing formulas.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex client inquiries utilizing problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • EDI standards (such as X12 or EDIFACT) experience required.
  • Programming languages (such as XML, CSV, SQL, Java, and C+) experience required.
  • Proactive and results-driven attitude, with a commitment to meeting project deadlines.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to effectively resolve benefit set up, data, and coding discrepancies.
  • Drive the connections projects by using project management and problem-solving skills.
