Job Description






DDN Storage is looking for a talented Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is focused on building and maintaining data infrastructure for our Go-To-Market (GTM) teams, ensuring seamless data integration across systems to enable data-driven decisions that enhance sales, marketing, and customer success initiatives. Role Summary:

As the Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable data pipelines that deliver clean and actionable data to our GTM teams. You'll work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and customer success teams to ensure accurate data reporting, optimized workflows, and insightful analytics. The ideal candidate has a blend of data engineering expertise, deep knowledge of GTM systems like Salesforce and HubSpot, and strong collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Infrastructure Development: Build and maintain the data architecture for GTM teams, integrating data from multiple sources (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Analytics) into a central data warehouse or lake.
  • ETL Pipelines: Develop efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data accuracy and availability for sales and marketing automation systems.
  • Data Integration: Collaborate with GTM systems (CRM, marketing automation) to ensure data consistency and reliability across platforms.
  • Business Intelligence: Partner with the RevOps and GTM teams to create reporting dashboards that track performance metrics, KPIs, and data insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Automation & Optimization: Automate data workflows to improve efficiency and optimize systems for real-time data delivery to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work with sales operations, marketing, and customer success teams to provide data solutions that align with GTM strategies.
  • Data Quality & Governance: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and security of data used by GTM teams, implementing data governance best practices.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Deliver insights through data analysis to support forecasting, revenue tracking, and marketing performance.
  • LLM’s and AI: Exposure and interest in helping to training and fine tune LLMs for use by customer facing teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with specific experience supporting Go-To-Market (GTM) or revenue teams.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other programming languages used in data processing. Experience with data warehousing tools like Snowflake or Redshift, and ETL tools such as Talend, Matillion, or Fivetran.
  • GTM Systems Knowledge: Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, and Pardot, and a strong understanding of their data structures.
  • Cloud & Data Storage: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and understanding of cloud-based data storage solutions.
  • Business Intelligence Tools: Experience with data visualization and reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments, particularly with sales, marketing, and finance teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot data pipeline issues and develop innovative solutions to optimize GTM data operations.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong focus on data accuracy and integrity, with a passion for clean and organized data.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with API integrations to pull data from third-party systems.
  • Understanding of GTM analytics metrics such as pipeline velocity, ARR, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and customer lifetime value (CLTV).
  • Knowledge of predictive analytics, AI/ML techniques, and their application in sales and marketing data.
