Position Summary

The Data Analyst, Regulatory position at Black Stone is responsible for assisting in maintaining Corporate Well Surveillance. Working under the direction of the Manager, Data Analytics, this role requires an ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining daily workload. This is an excellent opportunity to be exposed to all major U.S. plays and O&G producing states within the Regulatory Compliance space, with a focus on Non-Op property stance.

 

In This Role, You Will

  • Maintain key data points and system keys for Corporate Well Surveillance
  • Design and create workflows amalgamating multiple data sources into full spectrum wellbore lifecycle views
  • Correlate and aggregate data metrics for reporting purposes
  • Work across multiple department disciplines and align stakeholders on projects
  • Maintain corporate governance standards across multiple data types, systems, and outputs
  • Conduct deep dives into public regulatory data and files as necessary for complete wellbore lifecycle history

 

What We Require

  • Five (5) years or more state regulatory experience, TX, LA, NM, OK, WY, ND preferable.
  • Three (3) years or more Quorum Software experience.
  • Two (2) years or more Alteryx Designer software experience.
  • One (1) year or more Non-Op experience, preferably within the M&A space.
  • Ability to plan and organize workload, adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure with minimum supervision.
  • Solid interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build relationships in a small team environment as well as with external parties
  • Bring a positive team player attitude that is dependable and committed to the objectives given.
