Data Analyst - Power BI

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The PowerBI Analyst position will be crucial in transforming data into insights that drive business decisions. The primary responsibility will be collaborating with various departments to understand their data requirements and create visually appealing and actionable reports using PowerBI. Your analytical skills and understanding of business processes will be pivotal in identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Develop and maintain PowerBI reports and dashboards to support business objectives.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement best practices for data visualization and ensure reports are user-friendly and intuitive.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
• Provide training and support to end-users on PowerBI usage and best practices.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in PowerBI and related technologies.
• Support sales initiatives with tracking data, demographics, target audiences, and opportunities to improve the customer experience.
• Analyze customer data to understand purchasing behavior, preferences, and trends and provide insights to support targeted sales and marketing efforts.
• Maintain, build, and develop PowerBI reports and dashboards for reporting and analysis that allow for the creation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and scorecards necessary to create meaningful results that our department-level managers can use in their daily workflow management.
• Collaborate with related IT teams to test and implement system changes.
• Creating and maintaining documentation such as operational information, installation procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and knowledgebase information.
