Data Analyst 


Venesco, LLC., is seeking a Data Analyst to work with our partners at Deloitte supoprting a Navy Medicine contract in Falls Church, VA. As a Data Analyst, you will support Naval Medicine to implement leading practices that improve medical readiness and quality of care provided in an operational (deployed) environment.

As part of the Deloitte Team, Venesco supports the Operational Medicine and Neuromusculoskeletal NMOCCs in executing strategic initiatives and providing comprehensive program management centered around 1) supporting operationally-based clinicians and staff through advancing process improvement efforts and developing best practice guidelines, 2) updating clinical policies to reflect current medical best practices, 3) standardizing provider skills and proficiencies relevant to operational medicine, 4) identifying ways to improve the experience of Navy Medicine clinicians. This project is highly client facing and provides regular exposure to key Navy Medicine and Deloitte leadership. 


US Citizenship and Secret Clearance is required for this position.

The successful candidate will work directly with the Client and support team members to:

  • Run daily, weekly, monthly reports
  • Analyse and report on data gathered
  • Quickly assess needs and provide suggestions to best acquire and interpret data
  • Suggest improved ways to illustrate data 
  • Collaborate with team on priorities



Requirements

  • Solid Excel experience (pivot tables, macros, etc.)
  • Solid data analysis experience
  • Data visualization experience
  • R and/or Python preferred 
  • Strong client communication skills (individually and with groups of clients)
  • Experience with prioritizing and executing tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to quickly develop understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptionally self-motivated, directed, and detail oriented.
