The Collier Companies is seeking a Data Analyst to join our team!

This is an on-site role, reporting from one of The Collier Companies’ Home Office in Gainesville, which offers beautiful natural areas, a temperate climate, and tremendous educational, cultural, and commercial opportunities. We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with expertise in Power BI to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights, creating interactive dashboards, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, analytical skills, and business acumen. The successful candidate will work closely with executive-level team members, providing them with critical data insights to drive high-level business strategies.

Qualifications

Your Skills – Show Us What You Got:

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI or related data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau or similar).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong experience with DAX, Power Query M, and SQL.
  • Strong experience creating dashboards and reports with Power BI and Power BI Paginated Reports.
  • Strong experience with SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Knowledge with SSIS/SSRS packages, Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Experience with API development and management.
  • Working knowledge of git and GitHub in a team setting.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python or C.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Data Collection and Analysis: Gather, clean, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and business performance.
  • Data Modeling: Create and manage data models using Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Validate data quality, identify inconsistencies, and implement data cleansing processes.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on the effective use of Power BI tools and techniques.
  • Documentation: Document data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings for future reference.
