Data Analyst II

Global is seeking a highly motivated, self-starter to take on a Data Analyst II role within the Data Analytics team reporting to our Manager of Data Analytics. S/he will be primarily responsible for preparing data requested by internal and external users. Critical to success will be gaining a clear understanding of the database and the business.

Responsibilities will include

• Quickly acquire a working knowledge of the Global platform and processes.
• Interact with internal and external customers on requests sent into the Data Analytics team.
• Develop reports to be used by both internal and external users of the system.
• Monitor scheduled reports to ensure reports are running efficiently.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Strong SQL skills
• Familiarity with Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Ability to work independently and cross functionally with different departments.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Detail oriented
• An understanding of financial institutions and/or transaction processing is a plus.

Education and Experience

• SQL experience
• Advanced SQL knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge of relational databases
• Experience with report writing tools such as Crystal Reports, SSRS, Power BI, etc is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is a plus
