Overview

CVP is seeking a Data Analytics Specialist to work with CMS Model Space platform and manage complex healthcare data aggregation and analysis. The ideal candidate will collaborate with CMS third-party contractors while executing sophisticated data analysis across multiple healthcare data sources.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Model Space Management: 
  • Execute data analysis projects using Model Space analytical workspace
  • Collaborate effectively with CMS third-party contractors managing Model Space
  • Articulate and document data requirements to Model Space management team
  • Write and maintain code for analyzing CMS data from the IDR-C
Data Aggregation & Integration:
  • Lead data aggregation initiatives across multiple sources, including: - Medicare claims - Commercial claims - State Medicaid claims - Clinical data - Laboratory data - Patient registry data - Community-Based Organization data 
  • Develop and implement data-linking strategies across diverse datasets 
  • Perform calculations related to: - Patient attribution - Quality measures - Payment analytics 
  • Review and understand ISP contractor software implementations

Qualifications

  • Experience with CMS Model Space 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 5+ years experience in healthcare data analytics
  • Demonstrated experience in data aggregation across multiple healthcare data sources
  • Programming skills in SQL, Python, R, or similar languages
  • Experience working with large healthcare datasets, preferably CMS data
  • Knowledge of healthcare quality measures and payment models.
Security Requirements: 
  • Must be eligible to work on CMS contracts
