Data Analyst (Excel Advanced)

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to support our data preparation and analysis efforts. The ideal candidate will have advanced Excel expertise and the ability to transform large, unstructured datasets into organized, actionable insights. This role will play a key part in enabling strategic decision-making, particularly around acquisition analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and structure large Excel datasets to ensure they are ready for analysis.

• Utilize advanced Excel tools such as XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Power Pivot to categorize and analyze data.

• Edit and restructure Excel files to improve usability and standardization.

• Populate and maintain our Excel-based deal model used for acquisition evaluations..

Requirements:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Pivot, etc.).

• Experience handling large datasets and converting raw data into structured formats.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in financial modeling,  statistics, or acquisition analysis is a plus.

• Familiarity with using lookup tables for data categorization.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

Location: Remote
Working Hours: Flexible, EST zone time.
