About this role

At Revantage, we share Blackstone’s belief that sustainability principles are crucial to developing resilient companies and assets that deliver long-term value for investors.

The sustainability team at Revantage UK was established in 2021 to provide Blackstone’s European portfolio companies with a variety of sustainability services and shared resources, primarily focused on real estate decarbonisation, building strong workforces and good governance practices.

We’re now seeking to expand the team with the addition of an experienced Data Analyst. Effective sustainability data management is required to enable Blackstone and its portfolio companies to monitor and report against key sustainability metrics.

You will be a key member of the sustainability team, which is overseen by Revantage UK’s Head of Sustainability and comprises four people. You will be responsible for overseeing the collection, review, management and reporting of real estate sustainability data for the Europe region which provides critical feedback loops to portfolio companies in addition to feeding Blackstone’s global reporting

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee sustainability data collection and management processes to support performance tracking, reporting and disclosure requirements at asset, portfolio company, fund or firm level.
  • Collect, review, aggregate and report sustainability data for Blackstone’s European portfolio companies and operating partners.
  • Manage QA/QC processes to enhance the accuracy and reliability of sustainability data.
  • Contribute to the development of asset, company and/or fund-level reporting for internal or external purposes.
  • Collaborate with internal departments across Revantage and Blackstone, and manage relationships within the Blackstone network of portfolio companies and operating partners, serving as a central point of contact for sustainability data.
  • Support the development of existing processes, tools and templates to meet evolving data collection and reporting needs, driving progress for the European portfolio while ensuring alignment with the global data program.
  • Respond to ad hoc information requests in a timely matter, resolving queries autonomously and explaining trends effectively.

Skills and experience required:

  • Strong technical background, with at least 2 years of experience working with data.
  • Advanced Excel skills and some experience with Alteryx.
  • Highly analytical, with excellent attention to detail and advanced data management skills.
  • Experience conducting QA/QC.
  • Experience manipulating and wrangling large datasets.
  • Digitally proficient, quickly able to master new software systems, and an interest in prop-tech solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with Power BI, VBA, Sigma and Snowflake would be beneficial.
  • European language skills and/or any prior experience working on a pan-European basis would be an advantage.
  • Previous experience in sustainability or the real estate sector is beneficial but not essential.
