A BIT ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Data Analyst you will be an essential part of our IT Enterprise and Business Architecture team. You will be responsible for analysing various data sets that we want to exploit and to build transformations that extract and aggregate the data to supply to dashboards, reports, further analysis or other systems.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effective stakeholder management, identifying needs of all relevant parties
  • Review data and extrapolate how to model and transform it to deliver the information to the needs of your stakeholders
  • Build and deploy reports/dashboards
  • Ensure effective communication between IT and relevant stakeholders at all points, providing a single view of truth
  • Test data models and outputs against existing accepted data sources before deploying

THE EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Relational database & data modelling experience
  • Dashboard or report building experience
  • Comprehension and appreciation of system architecture & technical implications of requirement
  • Ideally a degree in a numerate subject (Maths, Stats, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or similar)
  • Experience in:
    o Relational database technologies (Snowflake, Microsoft SQL Server, or similar)
    o Data preparation tools (Alteryx, SPSS modeller, or similar)
    o Visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, ThoughtSpot, or similar)
    o R or Python but not essential
