WD Affordable Equity is a leading tax credit firm focused on tax credit syndication for the development and financing of affordable multifamily rental housing. This position would support the WD Affordable Equity Team.
The Impact You Will Have
The Data Analyst will be responsible for assisting with database management. Working with the Database Manger, the individual will interact with users to gather business requirements and build dimensional data models.
Primary Responsibilities
Implement database requirements in FileMaker and integrations between multiple systems.
Assists with database design and maintenance based on the organization’s needs and implements appropriate solutions to meet needs and comply with departmental standards.
Develop packages for extracting, cleaning, transforming, and loading data into the database from various sources (SQL, Excel, Access, flat files)
Develop packages to push data from the database to front end applications.
Create MS SQL Server views, indexes, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
Conduct performance tuning and query optimization using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Documents processes and procedures relating to the management of the data warehouse.
Assist with development and scheduling of reports.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field or equivalent technical or professional experience required.
Experience with vlookups and pivot tables in Excel.
Prior experience with Filemaker is a plus.
Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) is a plus.

This position has an estimated base salary of $70,000-75,000 plus discretionary bonus.
