CICONIX, a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) specializing in Military and Veterans Healthcare programs, is looking for a skilled Data Analyst to support the Resource Management Office at the David Grant Medical Center (DGMC) located on the Travis Air Force Base in California.
Design, analyze, and develop information products, technical reports/presentations for the DGMC staff as directed by the 60MDG/SGSR Flight Commander or designated appointee.
Recommend, design, create, monitor, and sustain performance metrics and dashboardsandapply/designsuitablebenchmarksforcomparativemeasurement.
ProvideMDG Executive leadership a monthly snapshot Business Performance report by the 20th of each month.
ResourceAllocationSupport:
DevelopBusinessCaseAnalysis(BCA),ReturnonInvestment(ROI),andother analyses in the form of technical reports/presentations to support DGMC decision-making, perform audits and quality assurance activities, not to exceed 1 report per FTE per month and to be completed within 2 weeks of assignment.
Optimization Support:
Perform analysis of current operations and information systems; implement optimizationandcorrectiveactions;anddevelopstrategiestointegratenew/improvedtechnologieswithexisting systems.
Use and or develop predictive models for improving clinical operations and evaluate clinical currency, efficiency, and productivity.
Decision Support:
Mine, analyze, and craft data to create compelling, insightful, and effective data driven recommendations,presentations,andreports.
Evaluatemarketviability(demographics,marketcompetition,benefitpenetration)fornewservice introduction/existingserviceoptimization,ExternalUseLease(EUL),federalsharingopportunities,MilitaryHealth System Support Initiatives (MHSSI), Military Construction (MILCON), Manpower studies and/or for any other optimization efforts.
Supportsanctionedprojectsandoptimizationactivitieswithanalysis,datamining,coordination, recommendations, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Prioritize projects to meet internal and external suspense datesor request extensions as needed. Meet original suspensedateifextensionrequestisnotgrantedbythe60MDSS/SGSRFlightCommanderordesignatedappointee.
Provide DataAnalysistoMinedataviatheDODM2,GENESISElectronicMedical Record(EMR)andotherDHAmedicaldatasitesandsystemsefforts.Providequerieddata&snapshotofMHS Genesis or the DOD M2 Data Mart within 3 business days of request. Volume of request will be monitored by FRED and not to exceed 5 requests per business day.
Provideamonthlypresentationofthe60MDGBusinessPlanPerformancetoExecutive Staff. Brief must not exceed 30 minutes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline required.
Aminimumof5years’ experienceinDefenseHealthAgencyMedicalSystemswith experienceinsystems and processes or equivalent Civilian experience.
Qualityanalyticalsupportwithinamilitaryhealthcareorganizationwithabilitytocommunicate recommendations and implement solutions to improved data quality.
Financialreimbursementmethodologiesandcomponents(ProspectivePaymentSystem(PPS),Medicare, Relative Value Unit (RVU), Relative Weighted Product (RWP), Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Department of Veterans Affairs.
