Data Analyst

Tripoint Solutions is seeking a Data Analyst to join our team.

Location:

The successful candidate will be accountable to:

• Data analysis and reporting using the Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, Power Point, and Power BI) and other business and business intelligence tools
• Working with clients to elicit, refine, and document requirements
• Participating in client data calls, working with clients to determine reporting requirements, and writing technical documentation
• Verifying data quality to ensure accurate analysis and reporting
• Gathering requirements for reporting purposes
• Documentation of processes and methodologies
• Planning, prioritizing and executing in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment
• Make recommendations for data products and gathering techniques that align with customer's business and analysis goals
• Accomplishes department objectives by communicating job expectations and priorities, providing professional growth opportunities, and evaluating results

Experience, Education & Training: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Management/Administration or related field
• 6+ years of proven experience in data analysis
• 2+ years of experience managing data projects and teams
• Strong background working with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Qlik Sense
• Experience in SQL query development and general database principles
• Experience with Qlik Sense NPrinting, Crystal Reports, Web Intelligence, and JSON feeds
• Strong written and verbal communication on complex subject matters
• Able to rapidly respond to changing requirements and priorities
• Able to prioritize and multi-task across numerous work streams
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to effectively manage ambiguity, anticipate problems, and take decisive action
• Proven track record of successfully managing team members and customer relationships

Clearance Requirements:
