Job Description
The GTM security SMB team on a worldwide basis at our client, as part of the Commercial Solution Area (CSA) organization, plays a pivotal role in driving the cybersecurity strategy for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). This team is responsible for the go-to-market (GTM) execution and strategic planning of security solutions tailored to the SMB segment. Their activities include:
- Long-term Planning: They oversee the long-term planning process for SMB security, including field role design, blueprints, compensation/incentives, scorecard metrics, and targets.
- Partnership Collaboration: Working in partnership with various teams such as SE+O, GPS, CSA, Marketing, Engineering, and Field, they drive accelerated business growth, reduce customer churn, and enhance security partner activation and impact.
- Financial Optimization: The team deeply understands the revenue, opportunity creation, and closing processes from a financial standpoint to continuously optimize and scale these processes.
- Business Insight: Leading the Security Review of Business (ROB) to drive improved business insight and performance is another critical function.
- Partner Ecosystem Development: They work proactively within Security CSA and other cross-organizational teams to build a long-term partner sales strategy and a joint Through Partner GTM plan.
- The GTM security SMB team’s global provide robust cybersecurity solutions to SMBs, ensuring they have the necessary defenses against the evolving landscape of cyber threats. Their work not only focuses on the strategic and financial aspects but also on the operational execution of Microsoft’s cybersecurity offerings for the SMB market. Key Profile and Responsibilities for the candidate:
- The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- She/He should be result-driven, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines.
- BI Dashboard Building and Excel Mastery: The candidate should be highly proficient in creating and managing BI dashboards, demonstrating an expert level of knowledge in Excel.
- They should be able to manipulate and analyze complex data sets with ease, providing insightful and actionable reports.
- PBI Dashboard Development & Management: Proficiency in Power BI dashboard development is essential.
- The candidate should be capable of designing, implementing, and managing PBI dashboards that effectively display data and support decision-making processes.
- Excellent Program Management/Project Skills to manage global stakeholders (across 3 time zones).
- Flexible to accommodate time zone needs Pilot SMB Execution and Tracking for ROI: The individual should have experience in executing pilot programs for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), with a focus on tracking and measuring return on investment (ROI).
- They should be adept at identifying key performance indicators and translating them into meaningful business insights. Managing Partner Meeting/Event Schedule: Organizational skills are a must, as the candidate will be responsible for managing schedules for partner meetings and events.
- They should be able to coordinate multiple schedules, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
- Data Report Development: The ability to develop comprehensive data reports is crucial. The candidate should be skilled in gathering data from various sources, synthesizing it, and presenting it in a clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize the complex and summarize into succinct and synthesize crisp and impactful recommendations
- Highly comfortable in a high-paced and dynamic team environment, graceful and resilient under pressure
- Proven ability to listen and collaborate well - building and drawing upon a wide network to get results.
- High capacity for multitasking and project management skills, able to manage multiple, high-stakes projects and deliverables simultaneously across workgroups and stakeholders.
- Excellent English communications skills Experience with sales data (Microsoft-specific is a plus)
- Prior Microsoft experience preferred
