Data Analyst– Carbohydrate Solutions
This position is open - Decatur, IL, Quincy, IL, Oakbrook, IL or Erlanger, KY

This is a full time exempt-level position

Position Summary:

The Data Analyst will be responsible for sourcing and validating data required for global Carbohydrate Solutions business data management, as well as the design and development of reports and dashboards to communicate consistent and reliable information to global management teams.

This position will be part of the Carbohydrate Solutions FP&A team, reporting to the Carbohydrates Solutions Assistant Finance Director.

Job Responsibilities:

Some of the key responsibilities for this role will include:
  • Gather business requirements for data; identify relevant data sources to support requirements
  • Map data from source applications to common reporting structures
  • Document and validate data extracts, interfaces, and metric calculations
  • Develop and maintain SQL database queries
  • Design, develop, and validate business reports, visualizations and dashboards
  • Manage data flows and reporting processes to ensure data accuracy
  • Train and support FP&A team members and business users to use reports and dashboards
  • Other related duties or special projects as assigned
Skills & Competencies:
  • Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong communication skills to convey business data requirements and train business users on reporting tools
  • Design mindset to prepare management reports and dashboards in a clear and concise manner
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience with OBIEE reporting capabilities is a plus
  • Knowledge of data modeling and database design is a plus
  • Knowledge of ADM business systems and data is preferred
