Key Responsibilities

Data Handling and Technical Skills

  • Engage deeply with data by cleaning, sourcing, modelling, and creating it with enthusiasm.
  • Understand database structures and extract accurate and insightful data.
  • Dig into CRM systems and collaborate with marketing teams to identify audience information for key communications.
  • Enhance data quality and continually seek ways to improve the data captured and held by the business.
  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the internal CRM system and operational processes, ensuring high-quality data output.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Gather detailed requirements for Operational reporting throughout the business.
  • Produce and maintain a standard set of Operational reports to track key KPIs and flag areas for further investigation.
  • Provide analysis and insights for senior management on both an ad hoc and scheduled basis in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Ensure every report provides a tangible benefit and is properly understood and documented.
  • Collaborate with front-end call centre teams to identify reporting and data that enhance business efficiency.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work with a Product Owner/Business Analyst and technical teams to deliver insights alongside new IT delivery and process changes.
  • Prioritise tasks based on customer and business benefits.
  • Document and continuously improve the customer journey to enhance staff productivity, customer experience, and business results.

Data Analyst Requirements

Technical Proficiency:

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, including complex formulas and data visualization tools.
  • SQL literacy for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Understanding of relational databases and their structures.

Professional Experience:

  • History of working with CRM systems is highly advantageous.
  • Experience in supporting contact centres or sales teams, providing analytical insights and data support.

Analytical and Numerical Skills:

  • Excellent numeric skills with a strong passion for data analytics and visualization.
  • Acute attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in data analysis and reporting.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

  • Effective communication skills to clearly present findings and insights to various stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills to drive data-driven decision-making within the organization.

Organizational and Time Management Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and organize time-sensitive tasks effectively, prioritizing based on business needs.
