Position: Data Analysis
Location: Portland, Oregon
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 / Annual salary
Hours Per Week: 40+
Shift: Monday – Friday | 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets from various sources.
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights in the data.
- Develop reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
- Work with the team to develop and implement data-driven solutions.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of data analysis processes.
- Stay current with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Create and update existing Tableau Dashboards to support company.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience, Abilities and Qualities Required:
- Advanced level of expertise in Microsoft Office applications (specifically Excel and Power Point).
- Strong technical skills in SQL and other data base platforms (Tableau experience a plus).
- Familiarity with statistical modeling, testing, cluster analysis, and sample size calculations to test accuracy
- Solid experience and understanding of code and programming.
- Ability to creatively interpret, present and/or display data/information to key leaders and everyday users to improve margin, productivity, and efficiencies.
- Must be analytical, detail-oriented, extremely accurate, and have strong organizational skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to equally engage with all levels of co-workers from stakeholders to managers, to front-line employees.
- Knowledge of the transportation and warehouse industry desired, but not required.
