COMPLIANCE DATA ANALYST position salary is based upon experience.

Compliance Data Analyst Summary/Objective 

The Data Analyst utilizes extensive knowledge of data protection standards, industry best practices, professional experience, collaboration, and good judgment to assist business partners by deep diving into existing processes to integrate processes with improved security controls. The individual will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and reporting data to identify and summarize trends across various categories, requiring the collection of data from multiple sources and ensuring accuracy.  The individual will be responsible for reviewing business processes to identify gaps leading to potential data exposure, integrating existing data protection methods into existing processes, gathering business requirements for data protection needs that aren’t met by existing data protection tools, and serve as a subject matter expert in Data Protection capabilities.

Compliance Data Analyst Job Description

  • Statistical analysis of company data and prepare reports for management based on the statistics
  • Perform administrative management of data
  • Collecting, Analyzing and Interpreting data
  • Formats data, and develops and prepares reports, charts, tables, and other related documents and graphics
  • Identify trends and relationships in data 
  • Identify data quality issues 
  • Advise on findings and recommend strategy
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned 

 Compliance Data Analyst Competencies

  • Ability to handle highly confidential information with professionalism and integrity
  • Ability to plan, create, program and manage complex statistical computer databases.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to apply a range of standard statistical techniques in support of scientific research studies and/or experiments.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
  • Process computer data and to format and generate reports.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret statistical data from multiple sets and systems.
  • Knowledge of statistical sampling and survey methodology.
  • Advanced skills in the use of database management, word processing, excel, presentation software, SQL
  • Knowledge of statistical research principles, methods, procedures, and standards.
  • Outstanding attendance and punctuality.
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with policy and procedures

Compliance Data Analyst Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in mathematics, statistics, or related field. 
  • Proficiency in with database programming languages such as SQL
  • Prior experience using database tools and spreadsheet software 
  • Critical math skills and a proven ability to handle difficult calculations
  • Must have excellent presentation skills
  • Team oriented; must be capable of working in a collaborative environment
  • Self- motivated and able to operate independently with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Salesforce software or other CRM system
  • Experience with a variety of office equipment
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Must be punctual and have excellent attendance
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • English proficiency

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This position will generally keep weekday, daytime hours, though some extended hours may be necessary. This is a full-time position.

No travel is expected for this position. If required, advance notice will be provided.
