Job Duties

The Compliance and Enforcement Data Analyst will lead the data analysis of our inventory control system. This role involves collecting and interpreting data to detect irregularities, enforcing regulatory standards through inspections, and ensuring compliance with laws and policies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in statistical analysis, inventory control systems, and compliance enforcement. Responsibilities include investigating non-compliance issues, preparing reports, and advising leadership on risk and regulatory performance. 


Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
• Ability to identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation.
•Experience interpreting data and analyzing results using statistical techniques.
•Ability to prepare detailed reports and documentation for management and regulatory agencies.
• Ability to conduct regular inspections to ensure licensees continue to comply with laws and regulations.
•Ability to investigate and inspect any irregularities and non-compliance issues.


Additional Considerations

•Experience in inspections and investigations of regulated businesses.
•Working knowledge of the Virginia Administrative Process Act and other relevant state laws and regulations.
•Knowledge of cannabis laws, regulation, and policy or similar knowledge related to another highly regulated industry.
•A combination of related education, training, and experience in health care, public health, government, law, criminal justice, or a related field.
