Overview

We're looking for a talented and highly motivated Business Intelligence Analyst.  Living and working in a culture that is more concerned about personal privacy than personal accountability presents great challenges for us and, most importantly, for our members.  This is also true with the technology stacks we all use every day, especially the ones that sit right in our pockets.

While reporting to the manager of our Business Intelligence team, you will support our executive staff, department heads, project managers, and other decision makers across the company.  Your primary focus will be to reduce both uncertainty and over certainty by analyzing highly complex problems and providing high quality, easily consumable information and reports using various state-of-the art data engineering, data mining, data science, and business analysis tools, systems, and processes.

As a member of our small team, you will be given autonomy in your work, the opportunity to mentor teammates, and provide domain - specific leadership and direction on technical projects and business initiatives related to data science, data management, and other business intelligence and data analysis initiatives.

By interpreting information from multiple sources using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation to statistical and machine learning analysis and complex data mining, you'll identify and quantify business trends, problems, and opportunities and produce predictive and prescriptive reports and solutions that advise and inform executives, managers, and other decision makers.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and seek opportunities to enhance data analysis processes and tools, stay updated on industry trends, and look for automation and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and organizational data security policies, handling sensitive data with care and confidentiality.
  • Other duties may be assigned as required.
